1. John Barker

The earliest Barker in the area is William Barker baprised 1. April. 1633 at Cuddesdon.
There is a family of William and Elizabeth living in Garsington at the turn of the 18th century. However it is difficult to directly connect John Barker to this family. This is something I need to double check as my own records are unclear and it could well be that the John Barker in their family is the same.

Elizabeth Sparkes

The earliest Sparkes record in Cuddesdon is John Sparkes born c. 1550.
There is an Ellen Sparkes born 1577.
Then a gap and John Sparkes marries Elizabeth Guy on 21. July. 1699.
There is an Amy and then Elizabeth born in 1728 but with no parents recorded in the Cuddesdon Parish Records.
