13. Henry Thomas (George , George ) was born 1 26 Aug 1891 in 2 Wynnstay Street, Toxteth. He died 27 Dec 1970 at 25 Stanway Road, Headington, Oxford and was buried in Rose Hill Cemetary, Cowley. Henry served in the military as a Captain, NZEF, 2nd Ofago Infantry 29 Aug 1914 - 31 Oct 1919 seeing active service in Egypt, Gallipoli and theWestern Front. He was a Publican 1920 - 1929 of The Admiral Hotel, Toxteth. When the business failed in the recession he was employed as a Groundsman. Finally he was employed as a Factory Foreman from the 1940s onwards at Morris Motors, Cowley, Oxford. He resided 1914 in 58 Drives Street, St Kilda, Dunedin, NZ.. He resided during the 1930s in 24 Eastwood Blvd., Chalkwell, Leigh-on-Sea with his family. He resided 1940 - 1970 in 42 Phipps Road, Cowley, Oxford.
Henry married 1Dorothy Kitty Martin on 23 Nov 1918 in SS Mary & St John, Cowley, Oxford. Dorothy was born 2 19 Apr 1900 in 17 Norfolk Street, St Ebbes, Oxford and was christened 3 3 Jun 1900 in St Ebbes, Oxford. She died 14 Sep 1970 in Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Cowley.
